The history of Top Float actually begins with the foundation of K&K Ltd at the end of 1992. From the very beginning, the company was a trading agent for some of the best fishing floats manufacturers in Bulgaria. Although the production of these manufacturers was on a very small scale, they had many years of experience and they had reached very good quality. These times are responsible for the valuable knowledge and experience, gathered in the field of float manufacturing and trade. However, the staff at K&K Ltd felt that this small scale production has no bright future and what is more important - it could not satisfy the high demands of the customers. So, in 2002 the company has organized its own manufacturing operation. For the purpose, a new company was founded under the name of TOP FLOAT LTD., together with another big Bulgarian company - Master Fishing Ltd. The factory was built in the town of Haskovo. It was equipped with modern Italian machinery - fully automatic and using the most advanced technologies. The staff was also trained in Italy. This, together with the fact, that only materials of highest quality are used, makes Top Float one of the fishing floats manufacturers with best quality in the world. The first exported floats were to a neighbour country - Turkey and now floats are exported to countries, as far as Australia, South Africa and Canada.

In 2004 Master Fishing Ltd. left the company and concentrated on the import and wholesale of fishing tackle, so K&K Ltd. remained the only shareholder in the new company. In May 2009 the production was moved to a new, purpose-built factory, which enlarged the capacity even further.

Today the factory has 30 employees, an annual capacity of 1 000 000 balsa floats and satisfied customers in more than 30 countries around the world.
