Our client build a leading international learning platform for medical video education,
serving students as well as universities and medical institutions. It is their mission to make high
quality education available to as many people as possible, and spread specialized knowledge
around the world.
They have hundreds of corporate and educational clients around the world as well as millions of
end-users. The sun never sets for their applications - people all over the globe create continuous
usage loads. 
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support their senior team members in making their product-development and quality-assurance workflows run efficiently and without interruption.

Prior experience of minimum 5 years in the fields of:

• Linux system administration (Amazon Linux and Debian based);
• Infrastructure-as-a-Code with Terraform or similar;
• Containerisation with Docker;
• AWS Administration of both EC2 instances and serverless infrastructure (Fargate, ECS);
• Managing Jenkins for Continuous Integration, QA and deployment.

Your daily occupation will include:

• Designing and implementing the server architectures for the applications in three environments - development, staging and production;
• Setting up alerting and monitoring of business critical KPIs, quotas and server processes;
• Automating routine processes and infrastructure deployments;
• Staying on the forefront of security measures to keep the systems secure on all the system layers (Linux, AWS, application stack);
• Designing and implementing security procedures, user groups and roles identity management;
• Implementing and maintaining disaster recovery procedures.

You should be:

• Proficiently using scripting languages;
• Striving to automate any routine process and experienced enough to completely understand the requirements, before rushing to code;
• Able to apply root-cause analysis in solving problems so that they do not repeat;
• Able to create plans for strategic DevOps goals, define milestones and control the execution of the plans;
• Alert towards current and potential threats;
• Able to think clearly under pressure and apply timely fixes.

• Able to clearly communicate in English.
