Fullstack JS Engineer
As a Middle to Senior Fullstack JS Engineer, you will be an essential cog in our development machine. Your role involves leveraging the capabilities of JavaScript to create and optimize platforms that interact seamlessly with our AI engines. Your expertise will guide the evolution of our products, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and user-centric.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy efficient and scalable JavaScript applications.
- Engage in continuous code refactoring, ensuring best practices and design patterns are adhered to.
- Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle.
- Stay informed of emerging JavaScript frameworks and technologies and, when applicable, implement them into your workflow.
- Address and rectify bugs and performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal application performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in JavaScript development.
- Experience with Node.js or other server-side JavaScript technologies.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, closures, and ES6.
- Experience in integrating with RESTful APIs and a basic understanding of backend systems.
- Familiarity with WebSockets, Service Workers, gRPC, or other real-time technologies.
- Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a passion for crafting high-quality solutions.
Preferred (but not mandatory):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or Mobx.
- Exposure to TypeScript or other statically typed languages.
- Prior experience in working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Python will be a plus
