Currently, we are looking to recruit an experienced IT professional to join them in the position of a:
MANAGER OF SOFTWARE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT DEPT.
As a Manager of the Software Application Development Dept., you will play a key role in leading and mentoring the Software Development, Process Automation and Development, System Integration, and DevOps Teams. You will create and implement strategies, define project requirements and deliverables, and develop and implement best practices, high coding standards, and development processes. In this position, you will work closely with the Head of IT and other departments/teams to suggest improvements within the overall application architecture of the organization.
Expected skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Strong professional experience in Software Development with a focus on Object-oriented Programming (OOP) – minimum of 5+ years;
- Proven track record in people management and strong leadership skills;
- Good knowledge of programming languages such as Java / Python / C# / JavaScript, or others relevant to your tech stack;
- Strong knowledge of frameworks like Spring / .NET / React / Angular, or similar;
- Hands-on experience with both relational and NoSQL databases including data modeling and database design;
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and practices as well as automated testing and frameworks;
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices;
- Bachelor's or higher University degree in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, Software Engineering, or relevant specialty;
- Very good command of the English language (B2 level).
*** Any previous experience in Finance / Bank / Fintech companies or projects will be considered a strong advantage!
