Electronic Assembler
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Marine Electronics Assembly: Assemble and integrate electronic components for marine systems such as autopilot DP system, motion control systems.
Wiring: Install and solder connectors, cables, and circuit boards to ensure waterproof and corrosion-resistant connections.
Testing & Quality Control: Inspect and test marine electronic components for functionality, durability, and compliance with maritime safety standards.
Reading Schematics: Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer instructions to assemble electronic modules correctly.
Environmental Protection: Ensure that electronic components are sealed against moisture, saltwater, and vibrations common in marine environments.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair faulty electronic assemblies, often working in confined spaces aboard vessels.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Understanding of marine electronics
Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints
Skilled in soldering, crimping, and cable management
Familiarity with marine electrical systems (AC/DC power, batteries, inverters)
Knowledge of marine safety standards and certifications
Education & Certifications:
High school diploma or technical degree in electronics or electrical engineering
Certifications such as:
Prior experience in marine electronics manufacturing or repair is beneficial
