About the Role
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer (Python + ReactJS) to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in building and evolving our mentorship platform, ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and empowering experience for our users.
This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer who is passionate about both frontend and backend development, eager to work on meaningful projects, and excited to contribute to a product that is creating positive change in the world.
You’ll work closely with a small, passionate team, taking ownership of features and helping us scale and optimize our platform for a growing global community.
⚠️Important!
Strong English communication skills and prior experience with both Python/Django and ReactJS/Next.js are required. Candidates without these qualifications will not be reviewed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building, maintaining, and optimizing features across both the frontend (Next.js, ReactJS) and backend (Django REST Framework, Python).
- Collaborating with the product team to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Managing API integrations and ensuring smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Supporting the deployment process with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and multi-environment setups.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and solving technical challenges with ownership and initiative.
- Helping shape the overall architecture and technical direction of the platform.

- Django REST Framework

- Celery for background task management
- PostgreSQL database
Infrastructure:
- Docker containerization
- NGINX as a reverse proxy
- GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Multi-environment setups (development, production)
Who You Are
- Mid-Level Developer – You have 2–5 years of professional experience with Python, Django, ReactJS, and Next.js.
- Full-Stack Enthusiast – You’re comfortable switching between frontend and backend tasks.
- Strong Communicator – You can collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Problem-Solver – You love figuring out how to make systems better, faster, and more reliable.
- Mission-Aligned – You are excited to work on a platform that creates real-world impact, especially in empowering women through mentorship.
- Self-Driven & Accountable – You take initiative, manage your workload efficiently, and thrive in a remote, asynchronous team environment.
- Technically Curious – You stay up to date with modern development practices and technologies.
- Fluent in English – You can communicate clearly and professionally with high-level professionals in English.
- Flexible-Time management - Our team is located in the USA, New Zealand & Europe therefore daily meetings are at different times during the day (this is not a 9-5 pm job).
