The company is actively expanding its team and is now looking to hire a dedicated and experienced professional for their Sofia, Bulgaria office:


SOLUTION ARCHITECT


You will have the perfect opportunity to join a strategic and large-scale digital transformation project within the company. This critical role involves developing the solution, validating technology assumptions, evaluating implementation alternatives, and finalizing the optimal approach.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Define consistent solution architectures across all IT layers (data, application, technology) based on given requirements and business context.
- Align business requirements with systems/technical requirements following enterprise architectural plans.
- Provide technical consulting throughout the project lifecycle, offering expertise during pre-study, system analysis, design, build, deploy, and test phases.
- IT standards implementation.
- Ensures that the solution is properly documented.
- Drives evaluation of new technologies to advise Product Owner/Product owner support and/or IT Delivery Lead.
- Evaluates alternative technical solutions and supports decision-making.
- Transfer knowledge and share both successes and failures with the team.

Key requirements for the role:

- University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Computer Science, (Software) Engineering, (Business) Informatics or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in senior technical roles - e.g., Tech Lead, Dev Team Lead, Solution or Software Architect) or another hands-on leadership role in software development.
- Professional experience in the design and development of Microservices Architecture. Experience with SOA, REST, and Web Services.
- Experience and knowledge of ITSM best practices.
- Requirements analysis, planning, and deploying IT solutions.
- Some previous experience or strong knowledge of Java and/or .NET Core, as well as with Cloud environments (AWS, MS Azure).
- Some experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kafka, and API Management tools.
- Good command of the English language (both written and verbal).

* Any previous FinTech or InsurTech professional experience will be considered a very strong advantage!
