Job description:
This role requires deep expertise in ServiceNow development, architecture, and integration. As a ServiceNow Consultant, you will design, implement, and manage solutions that enhance the IT service management framework and improve business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and customize ServiceNow modules, applications, catalog items, and workflows.
• Utilize client and server-side JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs, including Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, SOAP, REST, and SSO-SAML.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other applications using web services and technologies like XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, and HTTP.
• Work with ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, CSM, SPM, and tools like Discovery and Orchestration.
• Define and manage technical and functional design requirements, scripts, and workflows.
• Customize ServiceNow UI using UI Pages, UI Macros, and CMS, and work with technologies like CSS, HTML, and Jelly.
• Utilize relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, or Windows Shell.
Must-Have Competencies:
• Experience: 9+ years in the IT industry with 6+ years in ServiceNow application development.
• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development, including experience with scripted aspects of the system and system integration.
• A foundational understanding of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB principles.
• Experience with ServiceNow’s client and server-side scripting, workflow management, and platform capabilities.
Good-to-Have Competencies:
• ServiceNow Certifications: Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, CSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM).
• Hands-on experience with full-stack application development.
