SPARE PARTS AND LOGISTIC MANAGER
Silver Star Group is the official representative and importers of the German concern Mercedes-Benz AG and Daimler AG for Bulgaria. The company’s portfolio includes Mercedes-Benz, SETRA and FUSO brands. At the beginning of April 2022 Silver Star presented a completely new brand – INEOS Grenadier. Silver Star Group offers the full range of services for business and end customers, including sale and after-sales services for new and used cars, vans, trucks and buses, as well as sales of spare parts and accessories. The dealer centers are positioned in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas.
For our After Sales Department in Sofia, we are looking for an experienced Spare Parts & Logistic Manager who will be responsible for the organisation, management and profitability of the entire parts/accessories department.
Key responsibilities:
- Organization and management of parts department – tracking and communication of sales KPIs, key figure monitoring and evaluation of parts sales and logistic;
- Stock management, data analytics and regular reports and to support decision-making and future strategy development;
- Service and parts marketing – developing of a pricing and product range strategy, creation of promotional sales campaigns based on market observations and parts stock assortment;
- Implementation of sales, purchasing, procurement, assortment and inventory planning and optimization;
- Responsible for parts availability and stocking in line with demand, a high level of service quality and the active sale of parts and accessories;
- Maintaining all logistical structures and processes given the legal and manufacturer-related specifications and standards, and for planning, managing and developing overall human resources in the parts department.
Requirements and skills:
- Min 3-5 years of professional experience as a logistics/parts manager or in parts sales and logistics;
- Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Economics/Business, Engineering and Technology Education or another related field;
- Experience in leading employees and teams;
- Experience in active sales and dealing with customers and suppliers;
- A very good knowledge of the parts market key figures and levers of parts sales and parts logistics, the local competition;
- Experience in marketing, performance marketing and eCommerce;
- High proficiency in English (C1 level) is mandatory; knowledge in German is an advantage;
- Strong skills in MS Office suite, with a focus on PowerPoint and/or Power BI;
- Great communicator with the ability to lead in a way geared to employees, tasks and objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the automotive or service or retail industry is advantageous.
