Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Support Specialist

For our office in Varna we are looking for an:
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Support Specialist
Our AP/AR Support Specialist will be a member of the Finance Department, responsible for the handling KYC (Know your customer) procedures for new vendors and customers in line with the corporate policies and Preparing backup information for requests for credit limit increase. This position has frequent communication with the trade, logistics and various other departments, external vendors and will collaborate with the Accounting Team to maintain general AP/AR performance level.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Know Your Client (KYC) compliance (AP & AR)
• Support with internal control monitoring
• Register and process purchase invoices for A/P
• Responsible for the AP/AR email box and maintains communication with external bodies
• Prepare and maintain all activities for credit limit
• Working with multiple systems and process data (ERP, reporting systems, etc.)
• Provide any support to AP/AR where needed
• Closely working with other departments in the company
• Accomplish tasks on time and contribute to the team by taking on special projects as needed
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Experience as an accountant in an international environment would be an advantage
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office, especially with Excel
• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization, a strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
• Availability to travel to the office in Amsterdam, for regular meetings with Dutch Finance team or for organized trainings
