Accounting Assistant & Junior Financial Analyst in a fast-growing fashion company
The company:
Arise Co. EOOD, a Bulgarian-American company that operates one of America's fastest-growing, e-commerce fashion brands (Marcella NYC), selling women's designer essentials within reach, is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant & Junior Financial Analyst for its Bulgarian office. The position is part of an inhouse team, which works closely with the external accounting company and collects and records all primary accounting information.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensures accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses in an Excel data base;
2. Keeps daily and accurate recording of other business transactions in the ERP system and inhouse Excel databases;
3. Checks primary accounting documents for accuracy and comprehensiveness;
4. Organizes the physical accounting documents;
5. Tracks cash payments;
6. Reimburses and reports business trips expenses;
7. Documents various financial transactions; tracks payments, prepares mass payment files;
8. Tracks ongoing vendor balances;
9. Communicates directly with the external accounting firm, vendors and authorities as needed;
10. Contributes to the creation of the interim and yearly financial statements (both individual and consolidated);
11. Prepares all necessary paperwork in support of various accounting-related processes (e.g. annual audits of materials and product inventory, business trips reporting etc.);
12. Prepares various ad hoc financial reports;
Key Requirements:
• A completed university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics
• Relevant accounting and/or business finance experience is a plus
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Fluency in MS Office. Strong Excel skills and experience with spreadsheets are a must
