About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist who will play a key role in supporting our users and ensuring that their experience with our mentorship platform is smooth, meaningful, and impactful. You will be the bridge between our technology and the incredible women who use it, helping them navigate the platform, resolve challenges, and feel supported throughout their journey.
This role is more than just customer support—it’s about making a real difference in the lives of mentors and mentees who seek guidance, connection, and growth. Your ability to provide excellent support will directly contribute to the success of each mentorship match, creating a lasting impact in women’s professional and personal lives.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding to user inquiries and support requests with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Troubleshooting and resolving user issues to ensure a seamless experience.
- Managing and working with software tools to facilitate mentorship matches and optimize the platform’s efficiency.
- Maintaining clear and empathetic communication with users to ensure they feel heard, valued, and supported.
- Collaborating with the team to continuously improve the user experience.
- Embodying and promoting OneUpOneDown’s values, contributing to a mission that supports women’s mentorship worldwide.
Who You Are
✨ Tech-Savvy – You are comfortable working with digital platforms and troubleshooting technical issues.
✨ Fluent in English – You can communicate clearly and professionally with high-level professionals in English.
✨ Experienced in Customer Support or Account Management – You have a background in customer-facing roles and know how to provide top-tier support.
✨ A Relationship-Builder – You understand that every user interaction is an opportunity to build trust and create positive experiences.
✨ Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented – You thrive on structure and can efficiently manage multiple requests.
✨ Disciplined & Self-Motivated – You work well independently, manage your time effectively, and take initiative.
✨ Flexible-Time management - Our team is located in the USA, New Zealand & Europe therefore daily meetings are at different times during the day (this is not a 9-5 pm job).
